Leapfrogs – Launching into Learning
Lansdowne Leapfrogs Launching into Learning (LiL) is for families with children from birth to five years of age. Sessions happen weekly during school term and are guided by our LiL teacher.
We create occasions for families to connect with our community, cultivate curiosity and inquiry, and celebrate the power of play for our littlest learners and their carers. Attending Leapfrogs provides a great opportunity to get to know our school, understand and contribute to our positive learning culture. We view our community, including our youngest learners, as competent, capable, agentic, curious contributors and value Launching into Learning as a chance to lay the foundations for positive partnerships with families and a pathway to a lifelong love of learning.
We regularly meet in different areas around our school site (for nature play, mud play, gardening and special events) as well as inside our LiL / Kindergarten classroom. We also organise excursions in and around our local area. We seek to inject each meeting with opportunities for joy, wonder and curiosity!
